What is better to get in the Wizard Vault with astral rewards ?

If you'll use it, the ascended weapon is not a bad thing to buy from the Wizard's Vault, but a lot of the other things in there are more optimal.

The discounted gold, mystic coins, mystic clovers, and black lion mastery coffers (you can open them and sell the resulting potions for gold) are all 'better'. I believe the heavy crafting bags (if you own SOTO) are also good.

At 600 AA, the ascended weapon is equal to or better than the non-discounted (30 AA each) gold you can buy, depending on the stats you go for. That said, I still stand by the ascended weapons as a good option because it removes the normal timegates you suffer when crafting it from scratch, and it's a whole lot less time spent in menus.

Absolutely do not buy the obsidian shards if you can avoid it. They are very poorly priced; you're way better off just saving up your karma and/or doing HoT meta events.
